Concert Band

Concerts are at 8:00 p.m. in the Wilson Chapel on the Maryville College Campus. With the exception of the Concert in the park which will be held in the Greenbelt Pavilion in Maryville.

Jazz Band

Concerts are at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Hall in the Fine Art Center on the Maryville College Campus.

The Orchestra at Maryville College

The mission of The Orchestra at Maryville College is to provide a training ensemble for instrumental music majors at Maryville College, cultural enrichment for the community, and opportunity for area musicians to play in an orchestra and to enhance college-community relations.

2007-2008 Concert Schedule

Fall Concert Oct. 22, 2007

Holiday Concert, Dec. 3, 2007 (joint with the Maryville College Concert Choir, and the Community Chorus).

On the program will be Haydn's "Missa Brevis de Johannis Deo" and "Rejoice," by Gwyneth Walker. Guest organist Ashley Burrell will join the Orchestra in a perfomance of Saint-Saens' Symphony No. 3 in c minor, Op. 78.
