The
Use of Library and Computer Services is based on Consideration of Others
When in the library, please act appropriately by showing consideration
for other students who are here to study. We appreciate your help in
making the library an inviting and academically stimulating environment
for all library users.
Please
observe the following guidelines while in the library:
-
Silence
your cell phone.
-
Leave
the library to take or make phone calls.
-
Use
headphones to listen to audio – and set the volume so only
you can hear the sound.
-
Speak
quietly.
-
Use
a study room for group study or group projects whenever possible.
-
Use
a wireless laptop for group projects that require a computer.
-
Smoke
or chew tobacco outside.
-
Finish
food before you come inside, and please refrain from eating while
you are here.
-
Bring
your drink in a covered container.
Students
not following these guidelines will be asked to do so by library staff.
If a student chooses not to follow a guideline when requested to do
so, the student will be asked to leave the library and a report of the
incident will be sent to the Assistant Dean of Students to invoke the
College’s judicial process.
