This site organizes resources by audience and by topic.  It includes links to resources on specific topics such as school safety, multicultural education, Montessori education, gifted education, and more.

The VRD is sponsored by the National Library of Education and the ERIC Clearinghouse on Information and Technology.  This is a question and answer service that connects users with subject specialists in the field of education.

The Eisenhower National Clearinghouse of Math and Science Resources http://www.enc.org
This is a nationally recognized source of K-12 math and science sources. Highlighted at this site are lists of other useful math and science Web sites, full text online documents, and useful lesson plans and activities.

Good collection of K-12 resources.

Interesting Things for ESL Students http://www.manythings.org/
This site was developed to offer a fun study site for students of English as a Second Language and provide users with lots of word games, puzzles, and additional vocabulary resources and quizzes to assist them in learning English (C. Pracht, Southeast Missouri State University).

Pacific Bell and San Diego State University have developed and maintained one of the most useful directories of Web sties for K-12 schools and college/university departments of education. This is a fine collection of links to sites containing lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, tools in 12 curriculum areas.

SciEd is a multidisciplinary guide targeted primarily toward K-12 educators. Created at the University of Washington, the site offers a broad overview of science education tools from the traditional to the more modern and eclectic.

A series of math strategies at this Web site covers the competency goals students are expected to reach at each grade level. Included are concepts such as counting, making sets, identifying ordinal position, and comparing numbers.

This "Gateway" provides links to educational resources found on various federal, state, university, non-profit, and commercial Internet sites.  Links will lead to lesson plans, activities, and projects.  Some materials linked to this site are fee-based.

The Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory site has 15,000 links to educational resources.  It also has a “Pick of the Week” section.

The ERIC Web Site. Hosted by the ERIC Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. The Virtual Library contains an abundance of information including lesson plans in Arithmetic and Science by grade level.

The CIC Electronic Journals Collection http://ejournals.cic.net/
The Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) Electronic Journals Collection (EJC) is an electronic journal management system.  There are 21 ejournals listed for education.  The site has options to search, browse by topic, or browse by title.
