For Words and the Land 2007, we hiked and sauntered through and in the vicinity of the following places: the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore,White Oak Sinks in the Smokies, a junkyard, a nature center in Knoxville and two large, man-made obstructions to the free flowing of the Tennessee and Little Tennessee rivers.
